"You run product for this app. Where should we invest next year?" "How would you grow this product?" These are planning questions, and they are the broadest prompts you will get. That breadth tempts candidates to brainstorm twenty ideas. The interviewer wants the opposite: a few bets, chosen for a reason, in a sensible order.

Key idea Growth is usually held back by one constraint at a time. Find it, put most of your effort there, and say what you are choosing not to do.
