What the Proof rung is for
Rung 6 of the Design Ladder is Proof. You have made a bet. Now you say how you would know whether it paid off.
Many candidates treat metrics as an afterthought, a list of numbers rattled off as time runs out. That is a missed chance. A good Proof rung closes the loop: it ties your design back to the goal you set at the start, which shows the interviewer the whole answer was one connected piece of reasoning.
You have about five minutes for Proof and the walk down together. That is enough if you use a fixed shape.
