How to use these answers
Each answer below responds to a different common prompt, from a different fictional candidate, using the five-beat story: Headline, Stakes, Moves, Result, Lesson. Every person, company and number is invented. Each answer runs about two to two and a half minutes spoken.
Don't memorize them. Your stories must be yours, and a borrowed story collapses under the first detailed follow-up. Use these to see the shape, the proportions and the kind of detail that makes a story believable, then apply that to the stories in your story bank.
Try it Before you read each answer, cover it, read the prompt and spend 60 seconds choosing which story from your bank you would use and what its headline would be. Then compare.
