Why a rubric

Without a rubric, self-grading collapses into a feeling: "that went fine" or "that was awful". Neither tells you what to change. A rubric breaks an answer into parts and describes what each level looks like, so you can say exactly which part was weak and what the next level up sounds like.

This rubric is the kit's own. It is not any company's internal scoring sheet, and no company is obliged to grade you this way. It draws on the signals described in what interviewers actually score, which recur across most PM loops. User focus sits inside Framing and Depth, and collaboration shows in how you work with the interviewer under Communication. Improving here tends to improve what interviewers see.
