Mock interview scripts for a partner

Hand a non-PM friend word-for-word scripts for seven round types, with probes, time cues and a plain-language feedback form, and run a useful mock.

Why a script helps

Mocks with friends usually fail because the friend is too nice or doesn't know what to ask. A script fixes both. Your partner needs no product knowledge: they read the lines, watch the clock, use the probes and fill in a short form.

Before the mock: send your partner this lesson and pick a round, but don't read that round's prompt yourself. Allow 35 to 45 minutes including feedback.
